Update August 26, 2009:

I've worked as the Accounting Manager for Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley, LLP, a law firm in Oakland, CA for 10 years. I've loved living in Moraga, CA since 1976. I've lived in my condo since 1988. In 2008, I improved my kitchen. It's much more fun to cook and entertain now. I attend Orinda Community Church, United Church of Christ...I sing in the choir and the Crossroads Gospel Group and do the accounting/bookkeeping for the church as well as serve on the Finance & Operations Commission.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, bike riding, dance lessons, playing golf, walks, working out at the gym and reading. I adopted a 6 year old cat, Mr. Cooper last year. He's my buddy.

My daughter, Liz, turned 40 this year. She is married and works as a math specialist in Phoenix schools. Her children are Alec, who is 10 and started 4th grade. Alec loves riding his bike. Katey, will be 7 and has started first grade. Katey enjoys gymnastics. Deborah is 39. She is single and works as a consultant for Nielson Research in San Francisco. Her daughter, Shea, is 12. Shea is starting the 6th grade. Shea loves to dance.

My mother, Delia Kling, will be 94 this November. She suffers from severe short-term memory; but physically she is doing quite well. I take mother to plays and dance shows in the area to get her out of the senior residence in which she lives.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to this year's reunion; but I look forward to seeing everyone at our 50th reunion.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: 13 year cancer survivor!!! Single again and that works for me. I have worked at a law office in Oakland CA since Sept 1999. I enjoy riding my bike and working out at the gym. Every year I raise money for the National Sclerosis Society by riding my bike 25 miles. I play my guitar and sing with the Joyful Noise, a guitar group in my church. I also sing in the choir. I love spending time with my grandchildren. One granddaughter (7 years old) lives close by so we get together often to cook, ride bikes or play in the park. My other two grandchildren live in Phoenix. I see them 2-3 times a year. In 2000 my brother Lynn Kling died of lung cancer. He was 55 years old. I moved my mother Delia Kling to Walnut Creek. Mom is 88 but she gets along pretty well. I take her to the musical events and for drives around the area. I've enjoyed several vacations in Hawaii the past 10 years. In 2003 I toured Berlin, Geneva, Paris, and Leiden Holland with a church group. We studied the roots of the Protestant Reformation. In 2004 I will travel to Italy. I will get to cook with Italian chefs.

Future Plans: I will continue to work until age 67. Decide whether to stay in the Bay Area. Train for a century bike ride. Enjoy time with my grandchildren. Take classes at a local university. Take piano lessons. Play golf. Travel to different areas of the United States.
