Occupation: Owner and manager of a retail bicycle and canoe shop.
Spouse's Occupation: Co-owner and manager of Wheel Sport Bicycle and Canoe shop.
Family:
I run a retail business in Spokane WA, dealing with bicycles, canoes, kayaks and Nordic skis. Sometimes I wonder why I left teaching (?)! This daily insanity is sometimes too crazy. I've had the opportunity to design and manufacture a line of fiberglass and royalex canoes called 'Northwoods'.

I attended UofI for 2 years then transferred to Oregon College of Education in OR. Gloria Nelson and I were married the summer of 1968. In 1969 I graduated from OCE moved to Colville WA where I taught high school for 3 years. Presently, I own and operate Wheel Sport Bicycle Shop in Spokane WA.
